Manchester United's rebuild under INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe is continuing at full throttle in a bid to improve the Red Devils' dwindling fortunes. With two weeks to go until the end of the summer transfer window, United have completed the signings of Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui. They still have one target in mind in the shape of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Ugarte, who is valued by the Ligue 1 side at £51 million ($66.2m).

As per The Guardian, Manchester United believe the price point for Ugarte to be too high and are willing to wait until deadline day to force PSG to reconsider their asking price. The Red Devils believe that Ugarte is no longer in Luis Enrique's plans and as such, they may be forced to sell the Uruguayan at a lower price as the deadline nears.
DID YOU KNOW?
The report has suggested that in their bid to reduce the price for Ugarte, Manchester United are willing to include the likes of Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay in the deal. The latter two are the most likely players to leave Old Trafford this summer and their departures may be sorted out regardless of the status of the Ugarte transfer with PSG.
WHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD?
The summer transfer window is set to draw to a close at 11 pm BST on August 30 but United may want a deal concluded well before that deadline to avoid the possibility of the transfer falling through at the eleventh hour.
