Sancho posted the photo of the pair on Instagram with the caption, "Good spirits in the camp!" Sancho and Maatsen joined Dortmund on loan this window from Manchester United and Chelsea, respectively. After a rather public falling out with United boss Erik ten Hag amid issues with form and attitude, Sancho returned to his former side aiming to recapture the magic he once showed regularly in Germany.

Despite his disappointing exile from United, Sancho's spirits appear to have been lifted. Alongside the young Chelsea defender, the winger may well have rediscovered a home to play his best football. Although the deal is a simple loan, Sancho will be keen to show he still possesses the talent that attracted United in the first place and has already made a fast-start back in the Bundesliga.
