Manchester United defender Harry Maguire and Manchester City winger Jack Grealish have both reportedly been cut from England's final Euro 2024 squad.

Maguire confirmed on Instagram that he has not been selected, while reports that Grealish has not made Gareth Southgate's final 26-player squad ahead of this summer's European Championship. The report adds that Tottenham's James Maddison, Liverpool duo Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones, and Burnley's James Trafford, all of whom made the initial 33-man rostra, are also 'expected' to miss out. also reports that Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite is set to be axed.

Grealish has struggled for game time this season, scoring just three times and bagging one assist in 20 Premier League games for City. Maguire, on the other hand, has struggled with various injuries – the most recent of which caused him to miss the end of the season with a muscle issue – but his form has, on the whole, been solid enough.
